Chapter 1: A Personal Milestone

I want to take a moment to share an exciting milestone with all of you. It's been a fortnight since I published my inaugural article on Medium, and what a journey it has been! As an introvert, I often have many thoughts swirling in my mind, yet I found it challenging to express them. Launching my own blog on Medium felt like a significant leap out of my comfort zone, but it quickly became apparent that this platform was ideal for voicing my ideas.

The initial challenge was, of course, crafting that first piece. Staring at a blank screen, I felt overwhelmed and questioned whether anyone would care about my perspective. However, I reminded myself that every writer begins somewhere. Taking a deep breath, I began to type.

Publishing that first article was a blend of anxiety and excitement. Would it attract readers? Would anyone even notice it? To my delight, the feedback was incredibly uplifting. Supportive comments and claps flooded in. Unfortunately, I ended up removing it because it didn’t meet my standards for perfection.

I then shared another piece, which also didn’t feel quite right. Despite my reservations, I decided to leave it published, and I’m thankful I did!

A pivotal moment arrived yesterday when I joined the Partner Program. I must admit, my expectations were modest. However, to my astonishment, I earned $2.61 within just one day. While this might not seem significant, it truly validates my efforts, especially considering I've heard of writers earning that in an entire month.

It’s incredible to see that my words are resonating with enough people for them to support me financially. Joining the Partner Program has not only brought me joy but has also boosted my confidence in my writing. It’s not merely about the money, though; I genuinely enjoy connecting with others.
