Exciting Return of Spec Ops in Modern Warfare II

Recently, I shared some thrilling news about Modern Warfare II. While scrolling through my social media feeds, I stumbled upon more exciting developments that I can't wait to discuss in this brief post.
It has been officially announced during Call of Duty’s Next Livestream that the beloved Spec Ops game mode will make a comeback in the upcoming installment of Modern Warfare. This mode is characterized as an “immersive two-player cooperative experience.” Players will engage in missions within “large-scale hot zones,” working together to complete “operations against [REDACTED].” The use of redacted names hints at a possible link to the game’s overarching narrative.
A recent blog post from Activision confirms that Spec Ops will occur after the campaign's events, although further details have yet to be officially disclosed. Unlike the raid mode I previously discussed, Spec Ops will be accessible right at the launch of MWII.
This fan-favorite mode has appeared in previous Call of Duty titles and is tailored for pairs of players embarking on cooperative missions. The latest iteration of Modern Warfare, released in 2019, also featured a Spec Ops game mode. Interestingly, that version had exclusive content available only to PlayStation users for the first year. As of now, there are no announcements regarding console-exclusive features for this release, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
