Transforming My Life: A 100-Day Weight Loss Journey

Chapter 1: Day 16 Insights
On August 23rd, 2022, I took some time to recharge over the past couple of days. Yesterday, I spent time at the park, where I managed to complete 400 jumps, plus an additional 50, all within twenty minutes. I also prepared meals that would sustain me until the following day. Additionally, I worked on a post reflecting on how I discovered my 'why,' and I devised a plan to tackle an upcoming goal.
Then came today. I took my youngest brother to the beach, and we had a fantastic time! However, I think I may have slightly strained a muscle yesterday, as my right calf felt like it might cramp at any moment. That's okay; it's all part of the journey. Unfortunately, I didn't drink any water today, and I completely strayed from my meal plan.
For breakfast, I had two slices of toast and a bowl of cereal. For lunch, my brother and I shared a large slice of cheese pizza with soda, followed by an early dessert of chips and an ice cream bar. What message am I sending him by deviating from my own intentions for a healthier lifestyle?
Later, back at home, I indulged in another chocolate ice cream cone. I want to label this as emotional eating, but I’m uncertain. For a while, I successfully avoided junk food brought into the house. If it wasn’t my purchase, I wouldn’t touch it. Now, regardless of who bought it, if it's present in the house, I feel compelled to eat it.

There's a lot I need to improve upon, and the pressure of it all is quite overwhelming. Nevertheless, I'm focusing on making each day better than the last. Tomorrow is a new opportunity, God willing. Onward to Day 17!
