Introduction to the RTX 40 Series
Nvidia has officially introduced its highly anticipated RTX 40 series graphics cards, including the RTX 4080 and RTX 4090, powered by the cutting-edge Ada Lovelace architecture. Set for release later this year, these GPUs promise to elevate the gaming experience.
Previously, I discussed various leaks and rumors surrounding these graphics cards, which have now been confirmed with Nvidia's recent announcement.
Specifications of the RTX 4090
The standout model, the RTX 4090, boasts impressive specifications: - 24GB of GDDR6X memory - 76 billion transistors - 16,384 CUDA cores
Nvidia has declared that the RTX 4090 will deliver 4K gaming performance with over 100 frames per second, all while maintaining the same 450W power consumption as the RTX 3090 Ti. This GPU is expected to offer four times the performance of its predecessor, ensuring an exceptional gaming experience. Priced starting at $1599, the RTX 4090 is set to launch on October 12.
Specifications of the RTX 4080
The RTX 4080 will come in two different configurations: 1. The first variant includes:

- 76 RT cores
- 9,728 CUDA cores
- The second variant includes:

Nvidia claims that the 16GB version will deliver three times the performance of the RTX 3090 Ti, while the 12GB model will also outperform the RTX 3090 Ti but with enhanced energy efficiency. Both versions are slated for a November release, with starting prices of $1199 for the 16GB model and $899 for the 12GB variant.
